It is a compound made of wood particles, of industrial origin, for the use, mostly, in the process of filtration of sewage sludge into press filters for sludge dehydration. PRESENTATION Filtraser is the result of years of research in the process of filtration of sewage sludge into a filter press. COMPOSITION It is a composite product based on wood particles between 2 mm and 0.5 mm OPERATION This compound is added to the sludge tank that must be filtered in a press filter. It can be previously diluted with water to achieve greater homogeneity in dilution with sludge. It acts as a binder for fatty substances that are in suspension or emulsion in sludge. Creates powerful drainage channels in the filter press, facilitating the filtering of the mud and the water filter. Using Filtraser we obtain more compact dehydrated sludge cakes than with other products and faster filtering speed. ADVANTAGES

APPLICATION Any type of industry that uses filter press in its water purification system can use Filtraser since it does not require a few changes in its installation. FORMULATION Filtraser is presented in three references of pure product. Each of these has a different drainage power, as well as different alterations in the water. Depending on the needs of the industry, a product already formulated or a product formulated exclusively for each customer can be used. SALE FORMAT Big-Bag de 1 m³ Big-Bag de 2 m³ REAL FILTRASER CASES Next, two real filtering processes of water purification sludge in a press filter, by FILTRASER, are described. a) The first trial was conducted in a food industry of sauces and condiments. In this industry, filtrations are carried out every 70 min. 24 hours a day. When preparing the sludge mixture with lime hydroxide, the lime preparation tank (the same one used to prepare FILTRASER) must be dosed 80 Kg of lime hydroxide, with which 4 filtrations are performed. The process is automatically programmed to open the filter press for 5 minutes for cleaning. Each time the filter press is closed, the sludge mixture with lime hydroxide is pumped for 70 minutes. This is the right time to fill the filter press with this type of mixture. Taking into account that approximately 1,000 liters are pumped in each filtration, a total of 4000 liters of sludge is obtained with a dosage of 80 kg of lime hydroxide. This gives an average dosage of 20 gr / l. The result of this filtration is a series of dehydrated cakes composed of organic matter with lime hydroxide, which not in all filtrations is completed with the plug effect produced by lime hydroxide. The test is performed with FILTRASER. It begins with a dosage of 15 gr / l to be conservative and have no filtering problems since an error can trigger a stop of the treatment plant with the consequent production of the tail. A filtering of 1000 liters of sludge is achieved with 15 kg of FILTRASER in a time of 25 minutes. However, the programming of the filter press waits at 70 minutes for opening. The result is a series of much more dehydrated cakes completely complete and composed of organic matter and FILTRASER. The process is repeated three more times to finish the preparation that had been done with 15 gr / l. In the same way, increasingly lower dosages are being prepared until reaching a prudential filtering time of 60 minutes and the dosage it provides is 7 gr / l. The result of this test is that with FILTRASER it is possible to accelerate the filtration wisely and lower the material contribution from 20 gr / l to 7 gr / l. However, filtration could be accelerated at the necessary time by dosing more. b) The following test was carried out in a potato washing and packaging industry. This washing process creates a very thick type of mud with a high organic matter load. This industry was adding a chemical coagulant to the mud, as it had tested the lime hydroxide and could not work well. With this coagulant, a filtration of 1500 liters of sludge was achieved in 8 hours without a compact or dehydrated result. The test is performed with FILTRASER The test is started with a dosage of 20 gr / l of FILTRASER in the preparation tank that has a capacity of 100 liters. In addition, it is added to the preparation in the 1500 liter sludge tank and stirred for 30 minutes (it should be noted that this industry was working in manual mode because it could not control the filtering times). After stirring, the sludge mixture with FILTRASER begins to be pumped from the sludge tank to the filter press. It is possible to filter the entire sludge tank (1600 liters) in 6 hours. The result is a series of cakes of organic matter with FILTRASER almost complete, but not totally dehydrated. The process is repeated with the dosage of 40 gr / l. It is possible to filter 1600 liters of sludge with FILTRASER in 4 hours. The result is a series of cakes made of organic matter with FILTRASER that are too compact (too much compaction does not favor the detachment of the filter cloth) and well dehydrated. The process is repeated with the dosage of 30 gr / l. It is possible to filter 1600 liters of sludge with FILTRASER in 5 hours. The result is perfect. Compacted and dehydrated cakes in their right measure. The result of this test has been that this industry could not filter its sludge in 8 hours and adding the FILTRASER in 5 hours and with good quality. Technical sheets:
